My name is Jane, but I’m occasionally known as Lulu. I live in Boulder, Colorado, with my little dog Fenway. I grew up in Bath, Maine, which is possibly the best place in the world to grow up, but I have been a Coloradan for 9 years now and I absolutely love it. I love the people, I love the weather, I love the mountains, I love the easy access to healthy/organic/locally-grown/gluten-free foods, and did I mention the weather? We have ~330 sunny days a year here. Suck on that.

I’m a clean energy nerd/consultant by day, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about policies and programs to promote energy efficiency and conservation. In my spare time, of which there is never enough, I enjoy reading, photography, hiking, camping, drinking good beer, cooking if I don’t have to clean up after myself, cheering for the Red Sox, traveling, scrapbooking/journaling, and of course quilting!

I started this blog to share ideas and inspiration and get feedback on my new hobby (and possibly share photos from my adventures). I promise to work hard to give credit where credit is due any time I use another quilter’s pattern or work as inspiration. In exchange, I ask that anyone who uses pictures from my blog please link back to me!
